Default So i was thinking

Mesmer's....when it comes to Lord'ing it in a GvG have practically no damage(outside surge) to throw on the lord, i've been playing around with a bunch of off the wall mesmer builds in BYOB and i got to thinking...if hexes last 50% shorter on the GL, why not take advantage of that with Wastrel's Worry, it would end in 1.5 seconds and the guild lord doesnt use skills quite that frequently so id imagine 2-3 out of every 5 would trigger...if you ran 14 dom it deals 76 damage with the 30% boost from VoD/ViO it would deal 88.8 damage every 1.5 seconds

This would also help mesmers pressure more durring matches, diversion/shame cover with wastrel's...if they try to remove div/shame they'll remove wastrels, if not they take 76 dmg or get a skill disabled

this may not be the most effective off an e-surge bar...but perhaps a GoR mesmer that is constantly throwing up shame/diversion could also be pumping otu steady damage with WW

Agreed. I can see the use, but I can't see it being more useful than what they already take. If all you want is pure damage output, I'd prefer E-Surge, E-Burn, then Aneurysm.

Right, because first fully e-denialling a monk, and then giving him more than enough enegry to bring him up to full hp is pro... (Heck, +-50 energy, that's enough to bring the enemy party up to full HP? ty vm!)

Unless U kill him with that, it's a: "Here ya go, free win" skill...

Mesmers only shine in the sense that they compliment other characters when used together. For BYOB Frag mes + a sin can do some nasty degen dmg, conjure nightmare+crip ang and a burning arrow can pretty much destroy whatever they go up against.
